Naomi started doing yoga and pilates as a way to heal and strengthen her body after many years of coping with a long-term illness. She first received her 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification from David Vendetti in Boston in 2009. Then, taking the confidence she built on her yoga mat and bringing it into the rest of her life, she went on to earn certification as a Balanced Body Pilates Mat Instructor from Zayna Gold in 2010.
In her classes students can expect to laugh, sweat and flow through creative sequences, deep core work and intelligent alignment. Using music to guide the breath and inspire movement, Naomi’s teaching is a special blend. It appeals to those of all levels and abilities. As a firm believer that fitness is for everyone, she teaches all ages and has worked with professional athletes, bodybuilders, dancers, marathoners and everyone in between.
Naomi’s classes are a playful celebration, honoring the sacred and powerful connection of the practice. A certified level 1 reiki practitioner, Naomi has a healing energy that will draw stress, toxins and tensions out of your physical and mental self. She’ll challenge you, nurture you, and leave you feeling alive and fully aware of your own strength and potential, ready to take what you learned on the mat and share it with the world.
