Susie is certified with over 800 hours of Hatha Yoga training with Moksha Yoga (Ted Grand & Jessica Robertson) and teaches various styles of yoga including Pregnancy/Antenatal Hatha, Yin Yoga, Hatha Vinyasa Flow & 1:1 sessions across Brighton & Hove. Susie has been teaching for over 5 years and practicing yoga for 8 years. She continues to be inspired by yoga and is very excited as she takes the next steps on her yoga journey.
Susie's interest in pregnancy yoga began when her 1:1 clients became pregnant. She wanted to safely guide her clients through a class that was suited to their changing bodies and empowering them to adjust to the daily changes mentally and emotionally, by researching and studying. Susie then studied Pregnancy Yoga with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli.
Susie had a beautiful baby girl in November 2011. Susie loved practicing yoga during her pregnancy and swears by the yoga and breathing techniques which helped her through a positive pregnancy and labour.??
Susie trained in Baby Yoga with Birthlight and continues with her studies and own yoga practice. Susie lives with her husband, baby girl and cat in Hove.
Her teaching style is calm, whilst bringing a positive energy that is fun into the yoga classes. She believes that yoga is for everyone, from absolute beginners to students with an existing practice, any age and you don't have to be flexible. Postures can always be modified to suit your body type and energy levels.
