Madeleine Belizaire is a native New Yorker and first began yoga a little over 10 years ago. A few years later the activities of school and work kicked in and Madeleine’s practiced took a back seat. However, in 2008, she graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in Economics and Japanese, and went to work as an investment banker. It was while working in finance that she rediscovered her passion for Yoga. Amongst the chaos of Wall Street, Yoga became a refuge. Madeleine began practicing Yoga daily and saw changes not only in her flexibility and strength, but also improved health, more mental clarity and overall since of well being. When she realized the transformative power of Yoga, she decided she had to share, and in 2010 Madeleine graduated from teacher training at Pure Yoga in NYC. Madeleine’s classes are fun, vigorous and dynamic while inspiring students to be more in-tune with body, mind and spirit.Through Yoga one can heal and return to the place within that is always happy and at peace. Madeleine believes that yoga works for people of all backgrounds, body types, and ages. She is incredibly thrilled to have the privilege to work and play with you all!
