The Savannah Yoga Room
Whitemarsh Island, Georgia, United States
The Savannah Yoga Room offers classes based on a Hatha Yoga practice. Each class includes asanas (movements), pranayama (yogic breathing) and Meditation. We offer a variety of classes to suit your individual needs. The Yoga Room offers a friendly and comfortable environment to start or continue your journey toward wholeness and enlightenment.
The Yoga Flow Level I class is designed for the fresh new comer to Yoga or for the experienced student that craves a soothing stress release. The Yoga Flow Level II class gives an opportunity to explore new and challenging poses and to deepen the practice of pranayama and Meditation.
For those who like to lead their lives at a faster pace, the Power Vinyasa does just that. The movements, synchronized with the breath, turn Surya Namaskar (the sun salutation) into a dance where form, movement, and breath become an art. Based on the Ashtanga style of Yoga, Power Vinyasa is practiced in a heated room ( 85 degrees ). A regular practice will not only build strength and flexibility, but also give you a great cardiovascular workout.
A steady practice of Yoga teaches how to balance effort and surrender and turns the student’s limitations into power. You need not be flexible or be capable of quieting the mind; your commitment to Yoga will reward you with flexibility, fitness, relaxation, and peace of mind.View directions
